Dancing with the sun on your back

I pulled a rabbit from a hat.
It was the hat on which I sat,
but, oh my! what did this rabbit see
remains a mystery to me.

I saw a snail without a shell.
It was afraid that I would tell
it had been streaking all along,
though it knew quite well that it was wrong.

I kissed a frog upon a leaf
but found that kisses can deceive
for it never turned into a prince
and I haven’t seen it ever since.

I danced with the sun upon my back
as I lost myself from reality’s track
to deliver myself unto silliness
and all that I got from it was this.
