Skaap-praat
Wil jy skaap-praat, my ou maat,
dan moet jy naderstaan.
Skaap-praat hou ons uit die kwaad,
en vroulief laat ons maar begaan.
Dis kloutjies en kluitjies
en wolhaarstories as sy luister,
maar oor boudjies en dytjies
sal ons manne sagter fluister.
Dus, staan maar nader en praat skaap,
dit beloof om jou nie te verveel,
maar loop voor vroutjie begin gaap,
te laat om eie dye sag te streel.
