'n sinlose betoog
hoor
ek vandag van die verhoog
waar
landsleiers selfgeregtig staan
en
ander tot verpligting maan.
Maar
self sal hul nie vinger lig
om
die swaar lading te verlig.
Hul
staan eerder en vinger swaai
na
ander wat die land verraai.
En
tog as hul die spieël bekyk
sal
hul weet hoe 'n verraaier lyk,
want
hy wat lei moet plan kan maak
en
nie net kwaak oor elke saak.
